@media screen and (max-width: 320px){ .inline-ad{margin: 0 -10px;} } 教育專業聯盟指出，由於過去教育部對於處理「不適任教師」政策的不用心，在2017年又制定了一個「教師專業審查會」，處理不適任教師的方案。這樣一個號稱「教師專業」的審查會，在草案中不僅未明定兼具理論與實務的教師組織代表要過半，反而在法規中，刻意創造讓教育專業人員可以不過半的模糊空間。聯盟質疑教育部推動這樣的修法，究竟是要讓教育更專業，還是要去教育專業？聯盟表示，專審會本就是具備高度爭議性的組織。因為這個政策雖然號稱抄襲美國的「同儕協助與同儕檢視（簡稱PAR）」政策而來，但內容幾乎完全看不到PAR的精髓，所有對於教育專業的保護與堅持幾乎完全沒到位。例如，在美國執行多年且成效良好的PAR，其專責調查與輔導初任教師與不適任教師的輔導教師（簡稱CT），不僅嚴格規定必須是在第一線任教的教育專業人員，且必須借調到教育局，接受嚴格訓練。聯盟指出，反觀我國，不僅對調查員及輔導員的專業沒有嚴格要求，培訓也十分草率，更缺乏調查員及輔導員的淘汰機制。現在，教育部所推動的教師法修法草案，還埋藏伏筆，意圖降低專審會中具教育專業的教師組織代表比例。教育部是想用犧牲教育專業的方式來解決政治，掩蓋自己在教育政策及教育專業的無能嗎？此外，聯盟表示，針對「不適任教師」問題的解決，教育部的思考是從政治出發—「回應社會呼聲」，而不是從專業的角度找出問題，解決問題，維護學生受教權益。聯盟呼籲政府，為維護教育專業精神，提升教育品質，教育部制定政策時應從教育專業出發，並在教師法明定，攸關教育專業人員工作權的專審會，其委員會組成教師組織代表不得低於二分之一。若教育部做不到這一點，「就是將教育專業繳械」。一個將教育專業向政治繳械的教育部，沒有資格制定教育政策，更沒有資格決定國家的教育方向。
